There are only a few large glass manufacturers producing Energy Efficient Insulating Glass Units in the Country. All Window companies use the same glass units, no supplier has “special glass”. Low-E glass is standard and manufactured to the same specification for all suppliers. Liberty understands the Energy Codes for all Regions especially the Mountain Region where Solar Heat gain is just as important as protection from Infrared radiation. Liberty discourages any “gas-filled” (Argon gas, Krypton gas) in the glass of windows. It is proven that gas will dissipate and leak out over time.
